Background: 20 years ago, Neovan was locked in a five year war with an enemy country. During that time, Basil (who was only nine at the time) lived a difficult life. Due to his parents taking part in the war, he rarely saw them. During these hard times, Basil had to grow up quickly. During a brief ceasefire; Basil’s parents came to visit him. However, a single enemy solider (who did not get word of the ceasefire), followed them. Once they got home, the solider threw a grenade; destroying Basil’s home, killing his parents, and taking the sight in his left eye.  Basil, angered at the loss of his parents, swore to end the war with his own hands. By the time of his 17th birthday, Basil had enrolled in the military. When he entered the battlefield a year later, he quickly became known as The Tyrant; due to his cruel nature on the battlefield. That same year; Basil was given an artificial eye to improve his combat condition. At the time of his 24th birthday, he had made the rank of Admiral and the long war between to two counties had ended. Basil swore to use his new found power to protect the country, no matter what he must do.

Personality: Basil is shown as being an extremely taciturn man, always putting his work and love for his country above all else. He has an incredibly low toleration for insubordination and unruly children, remarking how children should always behave and obey their parents no matter what.  Basil has a very passionate love for Neovan, and would do anything to protect it, even if some of his actions are questionable. Due to his blind love for his country, Basil believes that The Hell Knight’s (and by extension; Edward) lives are not they’re own, but the lives of Neovan and, if needed, will be used to protect the country.

Power& Abilities: After the death of his parents, Basil began to train his mind and body to peak condition.  Basil has shown to be a superb hand-to-hand combatant, able to fight off several dozen foes single handed. He possesses great physical strength, able to punch holes is solid concert, break steel chains, and chop through wood bare handed. He has shown to be exceptionally fast and agile, able to doge machine gun fire with relative ease. Basil usually opts not to use weapons in combat, however, when he does, he prefers the use of brass knuckles, which he has demonstrated great skill in. After he acquired his artificial eye (dubbed “The Blood Stone”) All of Basil’s physical Attributes are enhanced tenfold.  Basil also learn and later mastered space (or dimension) magic. This magic allows him to summon virtually anything from a pocket dimension; it also enables him to trap others within said dimension. The only major issue is that Basil must have previously stashed said item in the dimension.
